 Rosewood Stud Foals

Rosewood Stud's Foaling unit offers 24- hour observation with the use of CCTV cameras in the Boxes, they are linked to the Stud manager and the main house so assistance can be given when needed. All foaling boxes have rubber flooring and heat lamps to give foals the best of starts.

After foals have found their feet, there are nursery paddocks for them to begin to develop and thrive with their mother. As they get older, they are put into larger paddocks with mares and foals of similar age to socialise and learn.

We cater for weanlings and yearlings too, we have a covered horse walker and 2.5 miles of "off the road" tracks around Rosewood Stud, to begin with their development process.

The foals are well handled ready for their next step in life, if the next step is going to the Sales, then we offer Sales preparation for all the major sales.
